Contract Engineer

According to the FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers) terms and conditions, the Contract Engineer has a key role in managing the construction project and in resolving any disputes between the contracting parties.   5. Payment approval: The Contract Engineer approves payments to the contractors for the completed works, once they have been approved and checked for compliance with the contract.
  6. Technical supervision: The Contract Engineer provides technical oversight of the entire construction project, ensuring compliance with design requirements and technical standards.
  7. Change management: The Contract Engineer is responsible for managing changes to the project, including negotiating and approving changes to the scope of work, cost and schedule.
